Day 40: Grocery Shopping and Work

Today, my roommates and I went to Aldi in the morning before I worked. It's a bit further than the other grocery stores in the area, but it's so cute and good! I had a few hours after we got back before I had to go to work, so I got to watch some tv and relax a little bit!

I started at 4:30 in the gift shop at the candy counter. It was fairly slow compared to some days this past week. There was a lot of package pickup which meant running to the back to find the package and scanning it into the system before handing it off to the guest. That, and a lot of product locator software because people were looking for things that we did not carry.

Tomorrow, I work 4:15-11:30, but I'm going to Magic Kingdom before work!

Day 39: Back to Universal!

This morning, I worked 6:30-1:30. I was floorstocking Bayview Gifts. The coordinator asked me to go through our keychain display and find ones that did not have a barcode and set them aside, because we were working through our inventory. It was different from what I normally do because I didn't work on the register at all today.

When I got out of work, I had a message from my roommate Kerry that the lines at Universal were super short and that I should meet them there. So I headed right there from work. It was a lot of fun even though it was only for a few hours. Me, Kerry and Kriss got to go on a few rides and see some good shows.

After the park closed, we headed to City Walk and met Jen at Bubba Gump Shrimp.

Roll Tide!

There was a lot of Alabama memorabilia because Forrest Gump went there in the movie, so that was awesome. How To Get Away With Murder had its season finale so we headed home to watch the craziness unfold, and then headed to bed after a long day!

Tomorrow, I work 4:30-midnight.

Day 38: That Time I Became a Galactic Hero

Today, my friend Kegan visited me! We were interns together for a minor league baseball team in Wisconsin this past summer, but he moved down to Florida too and lives with family down here! I hadn't seen him since I moved down here though, so it was nice to catch up on a lot of things!

We went to Magic Kingdom because there's so much to do there compared to the other parks right now! Today was also the first time I used a guest pass. It was really simple. I just had to tap my main gate pass first and then the guest pass could be used. That's it. We also were able to make fastpasses on the guest passes so that was fun!

We rode Splash Mountain and somehow ended up in the front row, again. I love Splash Mountain, but Splash Mountain just doesn't seem to love me back unfortunately.

As you can see, it was very scary

We went on Buzz Lightyear and I became a galactic hero!

Later on in the day, we met up with my roommates! We rode Space Mountain together and then watched Wishes on Main Street. It was definitely a fun day!

Wishes is so pretty!

Tomorrow, I work in the morning, Then I may be going to a park!

Day 37: Resort Hopping and a Concert

Today was so much fun! Myself, Becca, Alayna and Kerry started off by resort hopping in the morning. We visited Port Orleans French Quarter and Riverside, Old Key West (well, more like drove through it), and Saratoga Springs.

Port Orleans French Quarter!

Saratoga Springs has a bunch of horse-themed stuff...?

After we visited some resorts, I had to go to my Human Resources class at Vista Way. I think this is the best way to take a class: At Disney. If I had to take a class while I was on the program, I think I would much rather take it through Disney than online!

After my class was over, Becca and I went to an X Ambassadors concert. They're not a hugely popular band, but Becca really likes them and they were really good! The venue was in kind of a sketchy part of Orlando, so that was the only downside but other than that it was a fun night!

Tomorrow, my friend Kegan is visiting for the day!

Day 36: A Slower Day at Work

Today, I worked 2:45-10 at Fantasia, which is our plush shop. It was kind of slow most of the night, which was a lot different from the last couple of days, but I did kind of miss the fast pace. In our plush shop, it's a bit tougher to find things to do to keep myself occupied if there are no guests in the store I can help. I worked with another CP who is applying for a marketing Professional Internship like me, so that was fun to talk about.

I got home earlier than I normally do, and all my roommates were home which hardly ever happens. I got to chill with them for a bit and catch up with everyone. We have inspections coming up in about two weeks, so we talked a little about how to get ready for them!

Tomorrow, I have a jam packed day!

Day 35: That Work Grind

Today I worked from 4:45-midnight. I was back in the market, but this time with a different CP Lorraine. It got pretty busy again, probably because the half-marathon was that night. I met an Alabama alumni who showed me his Bama tattoo to prove he went there- it was very funny. I also met a bunch of people from Chicago who escaped the cold weather and came to Florida for the weekend. After work, Lorraine and I went back to the Ale House because it was so good the first time!

Tomorrow, I work 2:45-10. That means no closing!

Day 34: Catch My Breath

Today, I went to Universal for the I-don't-know-how-many-th time. I started with Kerry in the morning, but it was really packed! We think it had something to do with it being Race Weekend at Disney. That's our theory and we're sticking to it!

Because of how busy it was, we thought it would be fun to watch all the shows we hadn't seen yet. My personal favorite is the Horror Make-up show because it's really funny especially with the volunteers they pick.

Kerry had to leave to go to work so I was by myself for a while. I watched Fear Factor Live! and wandered around Diagon Alley for a bit. Then I headed back to the front of the park to meet up with Kriss!

Universal Studios does a Spring concert series for their Mardi Gras events and we went to see Kelly Clarkson! She was so good, oh lord she sounded awesome. She played some of her new stuff, but also a lot of her older songs. Kerry and I looked at the other concerts lined up for the rest of the semester and requested off a few days already!

After that, Kriss and I hung around City Walk to let the traffic die down. That didn't help much at all unfortunately, and it still took a long time to get out of the parking garage, but it was still such a fun day!

Tomorrow, it's back to work 4:45-midnight.

'Til next time!

Day 33: Working in the Market

Today, I worked 4:15-midnight, and I was in the market. The market is where we sell all our food items besides the fudge display in Bayview Gifts. We have a cooler with drinks, alcohol, candy, and even frozen foods. Bay Lake Tower, the Vacation Club resort attached to the Contemporary, comes with a kitchen in their room, so they can take frozen food from the market and cook it!

I worked with an ICP (International College Program student) from France, Fabien. It was fun learning about how he grew up. He also worked at Disneyland Paris before he started his college program here. 5 of us CPs went to the Orlando Ale House after work to eat after a long shift. It was really fun to hang out with my coworkers after work. It was nice to be able to talk to them for longer than a few seconds!

Tomorrow, I have the day off and I'm going to Universal Studios!

'Til next time!

Day 32: My First Busy Day at Work

Today, I worked 3:30-11:30. I was scheduled to work floorstock. However, 2 people called out, so I was bumped to register. I feel like I still don't know what to do when I'm supposed to floorstock. I get the general concept, I just don't know the nuances yet. In training, we got 4 days doing FOH type shifts, mainly registers, but we only get one floorstock training shift.

I worked the jewelry counter for the night, and it got really busy. I really do enjoy the job when it's busy though. I like having a fast-paced environment. It makes the time fly by! Hopefully it gets like this more often.

Tomorrow, I close, 4:15-midnight.

'Til next time!

Day 31: Fun in the Parks!

Today, Tess and I went to Animal Kingdom really early in the morning. It was great! There were almost no lines, so we got to ride all the big rides. We went on the safari and saw a bunch of cool animals! Rebecca and her family went on a little vacation for a few days, and they were in Animal Kingdom. We met up with her and her sister to ride Expedition: Everest! We were all so scared on that ride because it's extra crazy in the back of the train.

On our way out of the park, we stopped at Animal Kingdom Lodge and looked around for a bit. I stayed there when I was a kid, but it was so cool to see everything again! I kind of forgot how beautiful the lobby is, and getting to watch the animals was a lot of fun.

After that, we headed to Magic Kingdom. We headed to Adventureland to get some Dole Whips then parked ourselves on Main Street so we could actually sit and watch the Festival of Fantasy parade. I had really only walked past it before, but it was so pretty!

The parks were actually really busy considering it was a Wednesday, but I think it was because it was race weekend coming up that caused the crowds. Kriss met up with me and Tess later that day and we got to ride some of the smaller rides like the Carpets and Dumbo! Overall, definitely a great day!

Tomorrow, I work 3:30-11:30.

Day 29: Work, Work, Work

Today, I had work 8-4:45. I worked at the jewelry counter in Bayview Gifts. We had a meeting at the end of my shift with some other CPs, called CP Homeroom. We went over some facts about the Contemporary, watched a really cute video about a family trying to save money to come to Disney, and played Jeopardy at the end. We all got candy. It was cool. I went home and just lounged around the apartment for a few hours before turning in. It was nice to have a day off!

Tomorrow, I'm going to the parks!

Day 28: Another Morning Shift- Back At It Again

Today, I worked 9:00-4:45. I was at the jewelry counter of our main shop, Bayview Gifts for the day. I really got to learn more about the various bracelets and watches we sell, just from working at the counter all day. If I didn't know the answer to a question, I could always find someone to help me out.

I'm debating whether or not I want to drop my seminar course, Exploring Guest Service. I really love the idea of the class, and I think it would be very beneficial to me to take, however I feel like I wouldn't be getting a lot of time off if I were to take the class. It's definitely something for me to be considering, since the class starts in 3 days!

Tomorrow, I work 8:00-4:15.

'Til next time!

Day 27: Early Morning Shift

Yesterday was my first day stocking without a trainer. I wasn't super prepared for this because my stock shift in training was for our main gift shop/toy store, and not our market where I was placed. I was given a pretty detailed checklist of my responsibilities so that definitely helped a lot!

Feeling sick still carried over to the morning, so that was really rough to push through. By the end of my shift, I was so exhausted. I got back to my apartment and barely had time to change out of my costume before I passed out on my bed. I slept straight through the night into the next morning. In total, I slept for about 15 hours. I guess I really needed to catch up on sleep!

Next, I work in the morning again, 9:00-4:45.

'Til next time!

Day 26: Galentine's Day!

Today was Galentine's Day. Yep, you read that right- Galentine's Day. The day before Valentine's, that is meant to celebrate your friendship with girlfriends. All 6 of my roommates requested this day off right when we got here, however only 4 of us had the day off. The other 2 had to work in the afternoon, but we all were able to go in the morning for brunch at 1900 Park Fare! Even though I was feeling kind of sick the night before, I powered through for this today because we had such big plans.

We got to the Grand Floridian at 9:50 for our reservations at 1900 Park Fare.

Everything was so good! We also got to meet a bunch of characters including the Mad Hatter!

After our delicious brunch, we headed to Hollywood Studios for some more fun rides! We rode Rock 'n Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror before having some fun walking around.

We also got to go on Toy Story Midway Mania and I kept my undefeated streak! It was so much fun. During the day, I had my initial phone screen for the Marketing Professional Internships. It was really short because I had my general phone screen yesterday.

Later, myself and my roommate Jen went to see Fantasmic! We had been planning this all week- we were going to see the three fireworks shows in one night! We drove to the TTC after Fantasmic and rode the monorail to Illuminations. After that, we headed back to the TTC, then monorailed to Magic Kingdom and saw Wishes!

It was a very fun-filled and exciting day, despite me being exhausted at the end. But I got to cross two things off my bucket list!

Tomorrow, I work in the morning for my first stock shift!

Day 25: Universal- Round 3, Phone Screen, and Work, Oh My!

Today was quite a busy day! Kerry and I started by going to Islands of Adventure because we haven't been able to explore this park much before. We worked our way around, starting on Marvel Superhero Island. We rode the Incredible Hulk roller coaster, The Amazing Spiderman ride and more. We did most of the rides on the Islands of Adventure side that weren't water rides. We took the Hogwarts Express to the Universal side and were able to ride a few rides before my phone screen was due to start.

I headed back to my car so I could get to my work parking lot with a few minutes to prepare for the interview. This phone screen was very simple and pretty short. My interviewer basically reviewed which alumni-only positions I applied for, asked which were my top 3, what my favorite previous work experience was and 1 difficulty I experienced there, as well as one time I was a leader on a project. She laid out the basic timeline as far as when I would hear back, second or third interviews, etc.

After that, I worked 3:30-midnight at our plush shop Fantasia. It was a pretty slow night closing but I guess something I ate didn't sit quite well so my coordinator approved me for an ER (early release) and I was able to go home 2 hours early and let my stomach settle down and rest a bit.

Tomorrow, we celebrate Galentine's Day!

Day 24: More Professional Internship Updates

So today, my roommate Jen and I went to the Professional Internship Insights Panel to hear what recruiters for Professional Internships and the College Program had to say about the process. It was really cool to be able to talk with them, and get some advice on things regarding the application process that were a bit confusing.

I'm so glad to have these opportunities and I know I would kick myself later on if I didn't take advantage of them now. I learned that the closing dates for these internships are approaching quickly, so over this coming weekend, I'll be sure to finish up my applications for any internships I have left.

When I got out of the Insights Panel, I checked my e-mail to see that I had an invitation to schedule a preliminary phone screen for the Alumni-only internships I applied to. When I got back to my apartment to schedule it on a computer, the only times available were tomorrow, 2/12, during times that I'll be at work. I called and asked about alternate times, but they told me my best bet was to pick a time and talk to my leaders to see if they could help me out. Thank goodness for my managers who were so wonderful and accommodating.

Tomorrow, I'm going to Islands of Adventure and then I close again, 3:30-midnight.

Day 23: My First Day of Class and EPCOT!

Yes, I skipped a day. I worked yesterday, but nothing of interest happened. As much as I enjoy the work I do at the Contemporary Resort, I really wish I could have worked in the parks. I know I can pick up shifts there, but it still stinks because I do prefer a faster paced work environment, and the shops are literally dead a huge portion of the time. That's frustrating, but I can't really complain, because I do get to do lots of fun stuff!

So, today was my first class. I am taking two classes but one starts next week. Today was my first day of Human Resources Management. 4 hours is a long time to be a classroom though, so if you're interested in taking a class, make sure to keep that in mind. That being said, I thought the first day was interesting! It's a lot of stuff I've already heard in previous classes at Alabama, but it's still fun to be doing something like this through Disney.

After class, I picked up Tess and Alayna and we headed to EPCOT. We had time to go on Spaceship: Earth and Ellen's Energy Adventure before shopping at MouseGear for a while because our holiday discount ends in two days! We met up with Jen and watched Illuminations from outside the America pavilion which was different than any view I'd seen before.

Here's an update on my Professional Internship standings:

Disneyland Fairytale Weddings: Submission 2/7/2015
WDW Fairytale Weddings: Submission 2/7/2015
ESPN Stats and Information: In Progress 1/31/2015
ALUMNI ONLY Marketing: In Progress 2/9/2015 (phone screen scheduled for 2/13)
ALUMNI ONLY: In Progress 2/10/2015
ALUMNI ONLY Ticket Fulfillment: Submission 2/8/2015
Park and Event Ticket Sales: In Progress 2/10/2015

Tomorrow, Jen and I are going to a Professional Interns Forum to meet some recruiters and learn about the Professional Internships. I work from 3:00-11:30 after that.

Day 21: Animal Kingdom- For the First Time in Forever

Today was my first time at Animal Kingdom in probably 10 years. My family would typically skip Animal Kingdom if we were at Disney, or we would only go to the park to go on Expedition: Everest and then turn around and leave.

We got there in time for rope drop and headed for Everest. After that, we went on Kilimanjaro Safaris and saw a bunch of animals. Finally we rode on Dinosaur. It's not as scary as I've heard it described, but it's still pretty terrifying, especially when the ride goes completely dark.

We saw some pretty cool animals!

And I saw my school's mascot, Big Al (he's an elephant)

After we had lunch, we went to see the Festival of the Lion King, and we were in the Lion section! That was a really good show, definitely one of my favorites. We went on Primeval Whirl for the first, and last, time and ended the day with Finding Nemo: The Musical.

We had time to kill before I had to start work so we headed to Cast Connections and Property Control to browse around. I closed again, 4:00-midnight. I was so tired when I got home, I crashed right away.

Tomorrow, I close 3:30-midnight.

'Til next time!

Day 20: My First Magical Moment

I closed again today, but I didn't have a chance to do anything in the morning. I definitely needed to sleep in to recover from the long day I had yesterday. I was working a really short shift compared to my usual one, 3:45-9:45pm. In our main gift shop, Bayview Gifts, we have two counters: jewelry, or candy. Tonight was my first night on the candy counter. We have a small dessert display with fudge, cookies, and other treats so we have to handle those.

I had a guest come in who was surprised for his 23rd birthday with a trip to Disney World! I think that's the best birthday present I've ever heard of. He was so surprised by this that he forgot to bring his Disney pins to trade with other Cast Members. He saw one of my pins that he really enjoyed, so I said, "Happy early birthday, here you go!" He was so happy from this simple act, it was really cool to be able to be apart of that.

After my shift ended, I ran to the monorail to go to the Ticket and Transportation Center to meet my roommates Jen and Alayna to watch Wishes! They pump the music into the TTC and you can see the fireworks from across the water. It was really beautiful!

Tomorrow, I'm heading to Animal Kingdom before closing again, 4:00-midnight.

'Til next time!

Day 19: Hollywood Studios and My First Day On My Own

Today, my roommates Alayna, Kriss and I went to Hollywood Studios! It was so fun, because it's my favorite park, and this is only the second time I've been able to go. We had Fastpasses for Star Tours, Toy Story Midway Mania, and Tower of Terror.

We got there for rope drop and headed right for Toy Story. I was so happy to finally go on my favorite ride at Walt Disney World! After that, we went and met Woody and Buzz! I was wearing my Buzz Lightyear sweatshirt, so that was pretty funny.

We went down Sunset and rode Rock n' Roller Coaster, which was Kriss' first time going on the ride. It was super fun! Basically everything in the park is super fun. We watched some of the Streetmosphere performers before meeting up with Kerry, another roommate, to go on Tower of Terror.

After that, we went to the Animation Academy and learned how to draw Jiminy Cricket in honor of his birthday. Then we visited our roommate Becca at her work location, 50s Prime Time Cafe. After that, I headed for work.

It was my first day working without a trainer. I was in Fantasia which is our plush shop and toy store. It was pretty slow most of the night but I got some experience in different types of transactions like returns, exchanges, and shipping. My shift ended at 11:30, which meant I closed down two registers and straightened up our store, then we got to go home! Another long day!

'Til next time!

Day 18: We Just Did the Ultimate Park Hopper

So today was quite possibly one of the best days of my program so far. Kerry and I woke up bright and early in order to get to Universal when the park opened. We knew there was going to be rain so we bought ponchos just in case. This also meant the park probably wouldn't be very busy. With that in mind, we decided we wanted to try to go on every ride at Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure. Crazy, I know.

We were able to walk on almost every ride today. I don't think I've ever seen a park this empty. So remember folks, go to Universal Studios on rainy weekdays in early February. It's so worth it! We went on Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit which is a crazy roller coaster, the Despicable Me show, Shrek 4D, the Transformers Ride, Twister, and the Mummy before noon.

While we were eating lunch at Mel's Diner, we decided that we would look at wait times at Disney to see if the rain had affected them. We saw that a bunch of rides had really short lines so we decided to forego riding every ride at Universal and instead... CONQUER THE MOUNTAINS at Magic Kingdom.

We still wanted to go and see other rides, so we headed to the Simpsons area of the park before going on Men in Black. Kerry was a worthy adversary, but no match for me!
It was so much fun!
Then we headed to Diagon Alley! Oh my goodness it is seriously just as cool the second time around, if not cooler. There is so much detail in everything, and the Escape From Gringotts ride is absolutely perfect. So we hopped aboard the Hogwarts Express and headed to Hogsmeade for the Forbidden Journey ride.

Er mah gerd, Hergwerts

After that, we booked it out of Universal Studios and headed for Disney property! Once we made it to Magic Kingdom, we decided to meet the talking Mickey. It was legit super creepy. I don't know why it was so weird, but it just was awkward/uncomfortable? Anyways, after that, we stopped and listened to the musical stylings of the very famous Dapper Dans!

Perfection, as usual

After that, we headed to Frontierland to begin the mountain trek. First, we braved Splash Mountain. Remember those ponchos from earlier? Yeah, they didn't do much good except make us look ridiculous. We ended up with a front row seat and got kinda wet. After that, we met Jessie and Woody!

We then headed to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, the wildest ride in the Wilderness! After that, we got some ice cream and headed towards Tomorrowland, my fave. We had to wait a few more minutes for our Fastpass for Space Mountain, so we went on Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin. Neither of us are very good at it, but it's still fun! After that, we went on the TTA PeopleMover and ventured all over Tomorrowland. Finally, it was time for our Fastpass!

So. Much. Fun.

It was seriously such a great day. I don't think I've done this much in a long time. It definitely pays to be here when it's dead, and I'm glad we're taking advantage of that! Tomorrow, I work at 3:30, but my roommates and I are going to Hollywood Studios before! Another long day, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

'Til next time!

Day 17: Stocking Shift and Magic Kingdom Adventure!

So today was a very very long day. I was at work by 6:30 in the morning to learn the floor stocker position. The time started flying by as the day went on, but it did take a while to get to that point. I'm really glad I'll be getting a lot of closing shifts because I don't know how often I could get up super early for opening shifts.

I got back to my apartment around 4, and pretty much turned right around and headed to Magic Kingdom with my roommate Kriss and my friend Tess! It was a blast. We were able to go on Jungle Cruise, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, the Mad Tea Party, Space Mountain, and eat a dole whip, my first of the program! But without a doubt, the best part of the night was when we went to the Seven Dwarves Mine Train ride and we rode it during Wishes.

If you're familiar with the layout of the park, the fireworks go off right beside Cinderella Castle, but mainly they occur behind the Beast's Castle, where Be Our Guest restaurant is in New Fantasyland. So the Mine Train ride is smack in between the fireworks display and you can see it from the ride! It was the best, most uncanny timing I think I'll ever have in my life, and it was an experience to remember, for sure!

Tomorrow, I have the day off! My roommate Kerry and I are heading back to Universal Studios!

'Til next time!

Day 16: Last Day of Training and Professional Internship Fun

Today was my last day of training, y'all and good news: I passed! I have officially earned my ears at Bayview Gifts! It was kind of a long and stressful day, but it feels good to know I'm ready!

So, I have been working steadily on my applications for professional internships for about two weeks now. I still have a year of school to go, so I feel I could stand to build up my resume a bit before I'm competitive with the others who are applying, but I still want to go as far through the interview process as I can to prepare myself for when I apply again post-grad.

I will be keeping track of the professional internships I'm applying to and my progress below as well as a timeline of whatever, if any, progress I make, just as a reference in case anyone who reads this is curious about the process.

ESPN- Stats and Information Internship-

  • Applied: Jan. 31, 2015
  • Sports Assessment Requested: Feb. 1, 2015

Tomorrow, I have stock training starting at 6:30 AM. Booooo, I am not a morning person but I'm happy to learn another new position!

Day 15: First Day Closing

Today I worked from 15:30-00:00, or 3:30-midnight for all you non-military time peeps. This was my first time closing, and I also learned a lot of new things like how we handle money at the end of the night, and how to sell magic bands and how to link them to people's accounts.

Closing procedure is pretty simple. I'll close down a register or two, basically printing off receipts and compiling all the money, gift cards, and receipts in the drawer together. We take the money downstairs to the safe and drop the money, then we each will get a zone of the store to straighten and organize.

I met a family from Indiana today, which was nice to connect with someone. We talked about the snowstorm they were getting in the Midwest and how they can now enjoy the sun for a few days and make their friends jealous!

I got home around 1 in the morning, and there were 0 parking spots. None! I had to park two buildings over from mine, so I've never experienced that before. Hopefully it won't be that bad again but who knows?

Tomorrow I work 10:00-18:30, and I'll be taking my assessment!

Day 14: Fun times at EPCOT

Since today was my day off, my roommate Rebecca and I went to EPCOT for the day! I also received an email about my main gate pass so I was able to link that to my MagicBand finally, and reserve Fastpasses!

For those of you unfamiliar with how CPs get into the parks, once you complete Traditions, you will receive a Blue Cast Member ID which you can take to Guest Relations where they will link a 1-day ticket to your account, and you must do this every day until you get your Main Gate Pass. This is a darker blue card with  gold writing that says Main Gate Pass, who woulda thunk? Once you have this, you can link it to your account on My Disney Experience and use it with a MagicBand! This also means you can make Fastpass+ reservations 7 days in advance!

Me and Rebecca enjoying the Big Round Ball

We got a slow start in the morning, so we ended up getting to EPCOT around 2, but we were still able to do lots of things! We started off by heading to the Land and the Seas because we have never been on those rides. We also went on Journey into Imagination, and left it knowing deep into our hearts we will never go on that ride again. It was a little to crazy for us! Then we went to Club Cool and tried *gasp* Beverly for the first time! It was so gross I'm not even kidding, and it sticks on the back of your tongue. Then, we got to do some character meets and finally see our boss!!

We rode Test Track and got to design our own car (we won) and then made our way to World Showcase where we wandered around for a little bit. We also got to meet my first princess when we saw Jasmine and Aladdin. We ended the night back in Future World on Mission:Space where we successfully landed on Mars! Wow, technology has come so far.

Definitely a great way to spend my day off! Tomorrow, I work my first closing shift! I'll be working 3:30-midnight.
